RAV4: A Recharged Experience
The redesigned Toyota RAV4 has quickly risen to the top, becoming one of the best-selling compact crossover SUVs. First introduced in 1996, the RAV4 has enjoyed years of adventures, excellence, and praise-worthy achievements—and with the addition of newer, quick and fuel-efficient models, it’s obvious that it has plenty more to come.
RAV4 Goes Prime
When it debuted for the 2021 model year with an MSRP of $38,100, the Toyota RAV4 Prime introduced key features and capabilities, such as standard Electronic On-Demand AWD, Toyota’s first plug-in hybrid RAV4 model, and one of the highest EV ranges among PHEV SUVs at the time. On a single battery charge, the RAV4 Prime was rated for a manufacturer-estimated 42 miles of EV range and 94 combined MPGe. It also delivered up to 302 horsepower and could accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 5.7 seconds, making it the most powerful RAV4 at the time and one of the quickest four-door models in the Toyota lineup.
Safety Comes Standard
All Toyota RAV4 models come equipped with a group of active-safety technologies and capabilities, called Toyota Safety Sense, which includes:

Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection (PCS w/PD), Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC), Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist (LDA w/SA), Automatic High Beam (AHB), Lane Tracing Assist (LTA), Road Sign Assist (RSA)
