HOW DO YOU KNOW IF YOU NEED TO REPAIR OR REPLACE YOUR WINDSHIELD?

In many cases, you can simply repair your windshield and be done with it. This is often the case when it’s superficial damage, like a small chip or crack that can be easily mended. In other, more extreme, cases a full replacement could be required. This is done when a windshield’s integrity looks to be failing and as such poses a risk of completely shattering while on the road, leaving you without protection. One of the signs you should get your windshield looked at is if you notice that there’s a crack or chip in it. A tiny crack or a small chip might seem like it’s not a big deal, but over time they could become bigger and develop into a real problem. They could have weakened the windshield's integrity enough that it eventually breaks and a simple repair becomes a complete replacement, costing you a lot more time and money.
