For its 26th year of production and 16th consecutive year of being the best-selling mid-size pickup truck, the Tacoma is leveling-up in an all-new way: with a TRD Lift Kit! 2020 models and newer will have a suspension lift option available and the only one designed, tested, and verified compatible with Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) by TRD engineers. Elevating more than just its stance, the lift kit also boosts the Tacoma’s look and capabilities, with a new TRD Pro-Style front grille and new monotube Bilstein shocks.

The dealer-installed lift-kit option is now available nationwide and will provide most V6-powered 4x4 Tacomas with a 2-inch front and 1-inch rear lift. While added as an optional feature, the lift kit will remain compatible with TSS, making it the only lift kit certified by Toyota to increase your truck’s ground clearance by 1.7 inches while maintaining complete safety.

The TRD Lift Kit was designed to enhance Tacoma owners' exploring experiences and adventure lifestyles, with improved approach, departure, and breakover angles. It adds to the on- and off-road vehicle dynamics with Bilstein shocks, fitted with new TRD red dust boots and the “Tuned by TRD” graphics. Last but not least, the grille adds rugged TOYOTA lettering and a TSS millimeter-wave sensor.

The manufacturer-suggested retail price of the TRD Lift Kit is $1,350, which does not include an estimated 4-5+ hours of labor. All necessary hardware for installation is included and is only offered as a dealer-installed option. If installed prior or at the time of sale, the Tacoma TRD Lift Kit comes backed with a 3-year, 36,000-mile warranty. If installed after sale, it will come with a 1-year or 12,000-mile warranty.
