Design & Performance
The new 2023 Toyota Prius is designed with the future in mind with a performance to match. Modern and dynamic flairs, such as its piercing silhouette and aerodynamic styling, create an appealing aesthetic and athletic appearance. The engine under the hood is the 5th generation hybrid powertrain combined with a 2.0L engine and lithium-ion battery located under the back seat.
This new hybrid can reach 0-60 in 7.2 seconds and has 194 horsepower to create an engaging driving experience. The Prius also comes with three different drive modes: NORMAL, ECO, and SPORT mode depending on the needs of the driver.
Technology
The 2023 Toyota Prius incorporates the latest technology for the 12.3-inch Toyota Audio Multimedia system, making it more convenient for everyday use. One such feature is the available Connected Service Drive Connect with Intelligent Assistant, where saying “Hey Toyota” followed by simple commands allows users to search for directions, adjust audio, change the temperature, and more.
Users can stay connected to their Prius no matter where they are with the Toyota app with a 1–year trial of Remote Connect service. Through the app, users can turn on headlights, lock and unlock the doors, and remotely start the sedan.
Safety
A suite of active safety systems in the latest Toyota Safety Sense generation includes features from the previous generation as well as additional capabilities. Some of the enhanced features include the Pre-Collison System with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist, Emergency Driving Stop system, and more.
